The mid century spanned part of the 1940's through the mid 1970's...many of the designs that were created in the early 50's were recreated in the 70's for the wild and crazy movement of contemporary modern that was sweeping the nation with the likes of Verner Panton and the world of optical illusions and bringing Danish Mod worldwide. In this particular yardage you can see the abstract vision of the use of breeze blocks against orange double doors...it is this image that I draw the vision for this textile...modern...vintage...innovative...and futuristic.
This offering is for ONE YARD x 56 inches wide of unused unwashed off the bolt yardage...I have 20YDS being sold by the yard...likely more than that as I unroll this bolt...buy as many as you need and it will come in continuous yardage. A nice upholstery weight cotton canvas...from around 1972 and with all the pomp and circumstance you'd want from a retro bold and unusual textile. The clever use of bold orange and powder blue is extraordinary...added dark chocolate...latte ecru on a white ground. A flawless interpretation of mid century that is perfect in any decor from contemporary...vintage...tiki...to op art and even some traditional applications of today.
