A fabulous textile with so much to look at...a castle of kings...queens...horses and balustrades...unusualness is all over this piece...with a projection of faces in a row with a cow head first...so cool...castle walls could be a fortress...a war refuge...it is unsigned and hails from the 1950’s. A smooth unglazed cotton with terrific scenes in colorful orange...bold limes...dark chocolate...on a minty green and white ground. Seldom do you see such artful perfection in designs like these...surely a top notch piece for any collector or designer...if you love surrealism and expressionism then you will be head over heals with this one.
