I've been using textiles to frame for decades...mostly using smaller pieces to create art...but this year I went all OUT and created some of the most fantastic pieces of art you can imagine using some of my prized textiles...check the 3 photos for a birds eye view of some of the fun...whack and sophistication I created at my Florida Bungalow as an inspiration.
This offering is for ONE very fabulous unused unwashed piece of yardage... old stock fabulousness...I have a few inches short of 2YDS (66 inches long) x 56 inches long...to me it reminds me of being own the beach watching an eclipse...abstract colorful imagery in crazy lemon chartreuse...creamy turquoise...deep dark marine blue...vibrant lime...ecru...caramel tangerine...dark chocolate...and cobalt blue. Right about the end of the 60's heading in to the 70's...this iconic piece tells a story of textile history...hang it nestled above a swank driftwood table...mirrored glass end tables...white pleather sofas...and some stylish Paul mcCobb mod chairs...perhaps a chrome 60's style arm lamp that swags over the conversational area.
