The orgasmic feeling that exudes from this intoxicating relic from the 1950's in a rare perspective of bubbling underwater duos of MERMAIDS & SEAHORSES collide in show form underwater that conjure up the infamous Mermaid Shows at the Wreck Bar at the famed Yankee Clipper in South Florida...right across the street from the Hawaiian capital of kitsch the "Mai Kai" bar and restaurant that continued operation until last year when it was sold. The level of excitement and sexual appeal of these shows was simply iconic...it was the juxtaposition between two fabulous cities that both were experiencing the influx of popularity in Mermaid shows. Florida didn't just have bar mermaid shows...they did a whole devotion to the mermaids at Florida'a Cypress Gardens where Mermaids came to life adding a level of magic into any boy and girls life. The tourism fabrics were a part of the novelty fabrics that came out of the mid century...and continue today to channel the inner mermaid and seahorses in all of us.

This offering is for ONE unused unwashed remnant of very rare yardage...it is a cotton that has a linen like feel...but it is all cotton...a simple colorway is all that was needed to make this beauty pop...a turquoise ground...creamy milk chocolate...and lots of white...it measures 38 inches wide x 42 inches long...the more you look at the imagery the more you find...seashells...seaweed...underwater plant life with octopus like tendrils...it is in pristine mint flawless condition...ready to knock the socks off even the most mundanely unimpressed among us.
