This original signed bolt of fabric...yeppers still on the bolt...a sensational fashion statement of the day...with a French Asian allure of Chinese fans in a large abstract pagoda and asian flowers...a true crepe with lots of movement...it is nearly impossible to get 8YDS on a BOLT of 1920's fabric that has been stored in a time capsule. It comes on the original bolt that is printed "Serpentine Crepe"...which is a crepe fabric woven with a lengthwise crinkled effect and would have been used to create period dresses...skirts and blouses for the wealthy aristocrats of the time.
This offering is for ONE YARD x 32 inches wide of unused...unwashed original old stock fabric. I have 8YDS available sold by the yard. A golden tangerine honey with large swathes of white scenes of Chinese fans...bubble gum pink...cobalt sky blue...orange red...dove gray with black accents. Signed "Serpentine Crepe" 0on selvedge. Whoever buys the most of the yardage will also get it in the original bolt. But 1920's? Unheard of...un touchable...amazing collectibility.
