It was my genre...my prime as they say...it was the year I graduated high school in 1984 and I remember these styles...Jams Shorts were my go to...bright bold whacky colored long shorts to the knee with cool graphics...boom boxes...punk dance were alive in a way like never before. In my locale growing up Asbury Park was the nearby town everyone said stay away from...but that was just an invitation to go! And GO we did...to this obscure dumpy non alcoholic bar with a simple "12" hand painted ion orange on the door. Inside it was CLUB 12...it opened at midnight....it has carpeted walls and platforms to sit or dance...and they served juice for which we added liquor from our Joan Crawford flasks...this crazy colorful graphic fabric takes me right back...
This offering is for ONE YARD x 45 inches wide...I have 3YDS available being sold by the yard...a lighter. to medium weight cotton...checkered on 3/4 and print graphic scenes on the left 1/4. if you like how color sends electricity through your veins...then this one won't disappoint...for it represents a time and place...the 80's are very on trend now...they always say it comes back around again...well it has. Bold lemon yellow...turquoise...bubble gum pink...purple...lime with black and white accents. The writing says "BEACH FEVER" and everyone is ready to ROLL! Brand new unused unwashed old stock.
