Circa 2006 I designed a bar in a Miami Beach hotel that created a vintage Havana style. It was a sophisticated bar with dark wood tropical wicker ceiling fans...I brought it period pretzel pieces of George Nelson rattan and covered it in a large tropical barkcloth...with boxed sides of a deco stripe exact to this one...I used a purple piping on the cushions to really bring out the purples in the barkcloth and the stripe pattern. It was a hit. Creating vintage Havana looks...cigar rooms...dark and handsome in a sultry romantic scene that transports you back to Havana when it was free...beautiful and has the power to bring design inspiration and innovation.
This offering is for ONE YARD x 46 inches wide of unused unwashed unglazed cotton...I have 4YDS available sold by the yard...the colors tell its story...a deep dark teal green...burgundy...straight up purple durple...and a neutral fennel green with cream accents that bring this beauty to life. Protected perfectly for the last 80 something years...not even an odor...just sheer brand newness unparalleled!
