When something is signed with a date on the makers mark...it is an incredible gift to collectors...as it was not customary for textiles to be dated. This one is dated 1961...which was the year my mid century rambler ranch was built...I was going to use this as textile art with the date being visible inside the frame...as an ode to my house...but this crazy brain went way down into the rabbit hole and instead chose some even crazier...wild and trippy op art...Brutalist and Panton...instead...of course I was thinking of a luxurious caftan...but I don't wear caftans...but for the one who would...this would be a site of splendor and iconicy!
This offering is for ONE YARD x 36 inches wide of unused unwashed old stock yardage...I have 4YDS available being sold by the yard. Drapery...light upholstery or garment worthy...a white ground with tone on tone dots...a slight sheen...a medley of turquoise blue...varied asparagus limes...and milky chocolates come to life as abstract waterlilies cascading repeat after repeat into yardage oblivion! :) Signed "Pattern Rights Inc. 1961". Expect immaculate...unused old stock in brand new condition.
