The mid century was full of surprises...and as the industrial revolution continued...subdivisions and massive building was happening...it was a population explosion...and these homes being built needed yard chatchkas...it was the bringing back of a bit of colonialism in way of historic carriage lamp posts...native american...horse jockey's carrying lanterns...weather vanes and horse posts. And in a grand twist of interesting the artist placed those yard chatchka items inside the carriage lamps...you know...for a little whimsy.
This offering is for 2.3YDS x 36 inches wide of a medium weight cotton canvas,,,burgundy carriage lamps with true red...jadeite lime...chartreuse...and dark chocolate on a crisp clean white ground. Signed "Washfast Colors". Unused...unwashed old stock yardage in unused condition.
