I am sure that Ray Eames's eye perception showed nothing non art modern...perhaps a early indication of her perspective of the world...her art in design in the mid century...her mind...and core being...right down to her simple living room view...it is as if Ray sat down in her Los Angeles apartment with her hubby Charles...to create some new idea in mid century architecture...a woman of simple modern means...design with sparseness...the perfect furnishings...textiles...art work and color balance was her charm...whit...and legacy.
This offering is for ONE deconstructed drapery panel...I have another exact match sold individually...I have taken the draperies apart...exposed the selvedge...but have not washed them. They are clean and spotless...bold and bright...one could easily put them back together if you are looking to recreate a little of Ray's style of drapery...but really perfect for anyone looking to design...upholster...create passionate art...or to have lying around folded decoratively in a collection. A funky array of fab colors...magenta red...flamingo pink...turquoise blue...lime...chocolate... on a creamy white ground with iconic gold metallic mottling so indicative of the Eames' and their design mission. Measures 46 inches wide x 90 inches long with a large rod pocket hem at the top that gives another extra 5 inches. Signed "A Color Tested Fabric Best Obtainable Vat Dyes".
