I've always had a passion for these treasured souvenir like textiles that were popping up all over the place in the 30's 40's and 50's...I can remember the drives to Florida and the excitement of stopping at so many of the roadside souvenir shops along the way. Just recently I stopped at one and not much has changed...still the same iconic Florida branding...knick knacks galore...fresh bags of oranges and grapefruits in netted bags...and STILL even today they have the little tiny oranges with orange blossom perfume inside. For those of us lost Florida souls who are super charged by fantastic kitschy Floridian beauty...then this relic of days past won't get lost on your old soul.
This offering is for ONE YARD x 49 inches wide of a very rare Florida souvenir fabric...I have 3YDS available being sold by the yard...a novelty decorator heavy rayon barkcloth faille...a dove gray ground with white...post card like framed scenes of flamingos wading in shallow turquoise waters...red...pink...varied limes...charcoal gray...dark teal...with eggplant and white accents. This is unused and unwashed and in brand new 1950's cond. Expect flawless...time transportive...mind blowing.
