The level of textiles coming out of the 1960's was the evolution of styles and genres of decades that led up to the 60's...Art Deco...Atomic...Mid Century Modern...Danish MOD...and the commercialism of textiles that were being designed for furnishings in industrial spaces...requiring a more sturdy brand of fabric...these fabrics were commonly used on furnishings in automobile showrooms...hotel lobbies...and akin to Goodall...train...planes and automobile interiors.
This offering is for ONE YARD x 56 inches long...I have 4YDS available being sold by the yard...this is by far one of the most interesting patterns and colorways...what looks like a mod take on snake skin...the use of tangerine and beautiful pale blues...with a tad bit of watery gray...white and specks in dark chocolate. The selvedge is signed "Copyright Schumacher Inc. Long Look Stripe An Exclusive Schumacher Screen Print". This is a heavy...very durable fabric...a weight almost of a sunbrella awning fabric. Expect immaculate...unused old stock.
