I've always been obsessed with tropicals...it was those weekly winter post cards from Florida my grandmother used to send...I always knew one day I was destined to be a Floridian...and while I am careful not to become one of the infamous "Florida Man" types for the wrong reason! And while Coconut Grove jungle life is my goal...it will have to suffice for now in my humble abode. I brought my Jersey to the sunshine state and live that Florida life of gardens I am equally obsessed with that showcase my ideal of jungle mid century living. I seek banana and birds of paradise on steroids...bougainvillea in every color of the rainbow...large stalks of oldhammi bamboo that is now nearly 50 feet tall...elephant ear as big as the actual ear and mandevilla vine a welcomed encroachment anywhere its vine crawls. I do have a high bar to live up to after all...they don't call me FLORIDA BUNGALOW for nuttin!
