Fuller Fabrics in the 50's was renowned for its printing and conspiring with Pablo Picasso to create textiles...Fuller Fabrics was exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art in NYC in 1956 titled "Contemporary American Presented by the Museum of Modern Art, New York, August 29 to November 4, 1956 under the co-sponsorship of "American Fabrics". When you research Fuller Fabrics it brings images of circle skirts...dresses and iconic imagery.

This offering is for 2.5YDS x 36 inches of unused 1950's remnant in brand new condition of Calypso styled caribbean islanders playing steel drums...blocked on a crisp abstract of white...black and turquoise. Signed JP Stevens & Co. Inc Fuller Fabrics Division. It has never been washed or used and is very collectible...art inspiring...fabulous framed behind glass in a loft...it has a high end feel and ambiance about it that I have never seen in all my years collecting. Measures 36 inches x 45 inches...these dress fabrics were printed sideways on the fabrics...you can see that in my photos. This is a cotton canvas and is suitable for upholstery and dress.
