The draperies sophisticated and colorful...epitomizing everything that IS the tropical movement of Miami Beach that took place at a time of excitement...richness...and those who had a appreciation for sophistication and flamboyance...a glitz unparalleled on the southern east coast.
This offering is for ONE ready to hang drapery panel...I have 4 available being sold individually...the rarest of the rare of the tropical deco patterns of thick and nubby cotton barkcloth...a striking deep dark black ground...the most collectible of the tropical barkcloth prints...adding bold tropical colors...aqua and turquoise green...chartreuse lime...electric soulful lime...dove gray...coral magenta...berry...with black and white accents. These draperies are sensational...rare and treasured...coveted in someone's possession for the last 80 years...notice some of the post deco...early abstract mid century components that showcase some of the fun designs mixed with real life tropical leaves...is the gray and white abstract tropical stalks that move vertically from top to bottom in a way that dominates tha pattern. These panels have a 1 inch rod pocket...would always look best hanging from ring clips in my opinion. Clean...strong...unfaded...colors are bold and bright...not washed and don't need to be. Expect a really fantastic old stock drapery panel in perfect shape. Measures 44 inches wide x 92 inches long. Flawless.
